In Core Energetics, a powerful body-based process that works with somatic energy, our higher self is the part that's open to our full capacity to love and be creative. Lower self is the potent, destructive energy we harbor as a result of childhood wounds. Mask is the false or idealized self we present to the world to fit in. Practice fun and challenging exercises that work directly with each of these three energies to open to the self in fresh, profound ways.

Healing the Leaders
Mobile, Alabama
March 15th - 19th, 2010

In this workshop I will work with Jewish, Palestinian, and Arab Israeli women leaders. The work will focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for the strong feelings and voices of the women to be heard and held. We will work with the group dynamic to strengthen the bonds between these women. We will create an environment where pain and grief can be expressed, experienced, shared, and transformed. The intention of the workshop is to learn how to use deep truths and feelings to generate peace both internally and in the sociopolitical realm.

The Radically Alive Leader: A Core Energetics / Radical Aliveness Workshop
With Ann Bradney

People in leadership positions who strive to be inspiring, influential, and highly effective must be exquisitely present, fully alive, and unafraid to know anything about themselves. When you can engage the powerful feelings of others without the need to control or tame them, that’s Radical Aliveness. And when you can learn to hold a space where conflict and challenge are welcome because they serve as doorways to fresh insights, that’s also Radical Aliveness.

This workshop is designed for established or emerging leaders—therapists, business people, community leaders, healthcare workers, ministers, educators, social activists, and other professionals who want to learn the principles and apply the techniques of Core Energetics and Ann’s Radical Aliveness approach to bring more charge and creativity to their work.

We will work with blocks to leadership, facing conflict head-on, and opening to the unpredictable energy of life. Participants will be encouraged to lead, take risks, be emotionally honest, shed personal agendas, and help build a dynamic group process where every member is an essential part of the whole. Our aim is to become leaders who serve the greater purpose of life.

This group process may be unlike any group work you’ve done before. It demands courage, committed engagement with others, and a strong desire to discover and develop your leadership potential within an accelerated, intense time frame and setting.
