Core Energetics has a unique view of the personality that includes all aspects of human development . Working energetically with these aspects of ourselves can open up incredible insight to and awareness of our real selves. Higher Self, Lower Self, and Mask
June 7th and 8th – 10:00am-6:00pm

In Core Energetics, higher self is the part of us that is open to our full capacity to love, be creative, and harmonize with the world. Lower self is the powerful, destructive energy that churns in us as a result of childhood wounds. Mask is the false, or idealized, self we present to the world in order to fit in. Learn challenging exercises that work directly with each of the three energies to transform the self in fresh, profound ways.
Core Energetics is a powerful therapeutic technique. Working with the body, energy and consciousness, Core supports the profound transformation of energetic patterns that prevent you from living to your full potential.
Whether you have taken other Core workshops or this is your first- this workshop will be an opportunity to learn about and experience this wonderful work. You will work both individually and in group. We will create a powerful container where you will experience yourself and others in ways you never thought possible.

Healing the Leaders
September 1-14, 2008
Nazareth, Israel
In this five-day workshop we will spend three days working with the Beyond Word staff to continue the process we began at Esalen. We will do energetic work that encourages the revealing and processing of conflicts and truths that stand in the way of unity among the group. I will work with the women individually and in group to build on their personal leadership styles and gifts. We will do exercises in pairs and small groups that help the women develop tools for working with and transforming powerful energy. We will create a space for each woman to practice her leadership to prepare for working with the women leaders they are training.
For two days, the staff of Beyond Words and I will work with the Jewish, Palestinian, and Arab women leaders. The work will focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for the strong feelings and voices of the women to be heard and held. We will work with the group dynamic to strengthen the bonds between these women. We will create an environment where pain and grief can be expressed, experienced, shared, and transformed. The intention of the workshop is to learn how to use deep truths and feelings to generate peace—internally and in the sociopolitical realm.

Creativity for Peace
September 1-14, 2008
Nazareth, Israel
In this five-day workshop we will create a safe space where feelings, experiences, and taboos are brought out into the open and supported, and where group members feel free to explore at a comfortable pace. We will work directly with blocks and obstacles the girls are experiencing that stand in the way of embracing their personal power. We will encourage each girl’s leadership style. I will work with each girl individually to help her identify issues and needs—with the intention of creating a stronger voice and a deeper connection to that part of her that is a community leader. We will do energetic exercises in pairs and small groups to support camaraderie among the girls. We will do group process work to deal with conflicts in the group that inhibit unity and trust, and to create opportunities for the girls to practice expressing their individuality, ideas, and emotions forcefully and without fear.

Beyond Words

Through the Beyond Words Program, Jewish and Arab women are empowered to move from a position of hopelessness caused by the protracted conflict and to take a leadership role in promoting peaceful co-existence. In this program we will use the process of Core Energetics and Radical Aliveness to move through the pain and trauma created by the conflict and to work towards unity.
